ST. VINCENT DE PAUL SOCIAL SERVICES.......CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY CLOSING
St. Vincent de Paul Emergency food services will be unavailable from Friday December 19th until January 5th.
The Community Kitchen at Trinity Anglican Church on Colborne St. South will also be closed Friday December 19th and will not reopen until
Tuesday January 6th.

The Christmas Spirit of good will is alive and well in Norfolk County!!
Employees at Essex Solutions donated canned and dry goods to St. Vincent de Paul, along with over $2,000 to use towards their Christmas Hamper Program.
This Christmas, St. Vincent de Paul will provide food and all the trimming for over 100 individuals around our county!

Trius Loyal LePage also made a much appreciated monetary donation, and Malo Family & Cosmetic Dentristy once again provided toothbrushes to all individuals on St. Vincent de Paul's Christmas list.

St. Vincent de Paul would like to thank the numerous individuals and organizations that continue to support our efforts through monetary donations and donations of dried/canned food goods.

St. Vincent de Paul Community Kitchen serves hot nutritious meals to many Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays at Trinity Anglican Church at 80 Colborne St. South in Simcoe.

Monetary donations can be made through etransfers to [email protected] or dropped off at the St. Vincent de Paul Community Kitchen between 9am - Noon Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursdays.

We do wish to inform everyone that the Community Kitchen and our Emergency Food Deliveries will close for the holidays on Friday December 19th, but will reopen to serve you on Tuesday January 6th, 2026. St. Vincent de Paul wishes everyone a Merry Christmas and properous New Year!

We thank all donors for helping us replace a sense of despair with hope for many individuals in our community! Thank you!!

St. Joseph's Leadership Team in Simcoe was working long before the arrival of the Christmas season to raise money for those facing food insecurity in our local community.
Students arranged a Glow Stick Fundraiser, raising over $800.00 !! The funds will be used by St. Vincent de Paul in purchasing items for their Christmas Hampers that are provided to local residents of Norfolk. Thanks Midge for accepting this for us!! And an extra special thank you to the students who are making a difference in the lives of others..

NEWS FROM ST. VINCENT DE PAUL

Our local elementary schools helped to stock the shelves of St. Vincent de Paul's pantry during a recent Lenten food drive.
Small but mighty schools of St. Mike's, Walsh and St. Bernard's, Waterford are pictured with their donations, as are St. Joseph's students from Simcoe and St. Frances, Delhi with their outreach to local folks in need.
St. Vincent de Paul delivers groceries to the homes of the needy once per month per family. Call: +1 855-561-4184 and leave a message. Deliveries by volunteer drivers on Tuesdays and Thursdays only.

WINTER FOOD DRIVES IN LOCAL SCHOOLS
Students in some of our local schools have been busy collecting donations for St. Vincent de Paul to distribute to our Neighbours in Need. Holy Trinity students and staff raised $1,000 in a recent Dress Down Day, and St. Frances in Delhi, and St. Michael's in Walsh collected soup in their "Souper Bowl" Drives!

TIME CHANGE!
St. Vincent de Paul Community Kitchen at Trinity Anglican, Simcoe, is changing its mealtime from 12 noon to 11:30AM starting Tuesday, January 14, 2025, Wednesday and Thursday for the rest of the season.
Arrival for fellowship and coffee on Wed and Thurs is 10AM and 11 AM on Tuesdays due to hall rental.
