It’s official! Smithers Brewing and Detailed Events Oktoberfest 2026 is a go!

Saturday Sept 19th in the SBC back parking lot.

QUILOMBERA is a dynamic musical project rooted in the vibrant traditions of the Colombian Caribbean coast. Based in Nelson, British Columbia, the ensemble performs a varied repertoire that blends the driving rhythms of Afro-Colombian folklore — such as cumbia, bullerengue, mapalé, fandangos, etc — with contemporary harmonic textures and original compositions.

This incredible group decided to make a stop at our little brewery on their way to the Edge of the World

Nearly a decade ago, we opened the doors to Smithers Brewing Company. We had big dreams, a lot to learn, and no idea where the journey would take us.

Eight years later, these four familiar faces are still here, helping make Smithers Brewing what it is today. ❤️
Over the years we've shared countless pints, met incredible people, welcomed amazing staff, and watched this community become the heart of everything we do.

Whether you've been with us since day one or just discovered us recently, thank you for every visit, every cheers, and every can you've cracked open.
