We're still thinking about Oktoberfest last Saturday, and how much fun we had with all of you on a beautiful fall evening!

This was our biggest year yet, we sold out with 400 people joining us for traditional b**rs, food, music, and a lot of fun games!

This event wouldn't happen without all the people working hard behind the scenes...

Our Double Header is back just in time for the steelhead season!

First made with our friends at Tailout Brewing over the winter that we decided to bring back for the height of steelhead season:

A crispy, crushable, 100% Canadian Pilsner. Brewed as a collaboration between Smithers Brewing and Tailout brewing in Smithers, BC using malt from Hogarth Malt in Alberta and hops from Topp's Hops in Abbotsford.

The Double Header is inspired by Czech Pilsners, and so using Aaron Hogarth's Pilsner and Undermodified malts for some bready, biscuity goodness in this one was a no-brainer!

Topp’s Hops were generous enough to gift us an experimental hop they’ve been working on called Gaan, which has been selectively bred to be the ideal hop in Canadian la**rs. We told them about this b**r, and they sent us a whole whack of the stuff to throw at it.

The Gaan hops add a pleasant floral, fruity, and spicy edge to this riverside slammer.

Put them all together, and you’ve got a great companion for the nearest body of water where the fish are biting. On shelves now, and hitting our side pull tap very, very soon!

But our Golden Arm Kolsch is pretty dang close ✨

Don't worry, we have the next best thing!

Our 2026 Oktoberfest b**r lineup is here, right on time to celebrate with a big party in Tandem with the start of Oktoberfest in Germany.

Our B**r lineup balances all the classic styles that come from this historical event each September and October, down to our special Raspberry and Woodruff Syrup that you can add to our Nordlichter Weisse.

A Weisse as bright and striking the northern lights themselves!

You may know this tart ale already if you came by our Oktoberfest party last year, and maybe you even had it with a traditional shot of raspberry or woodruff syrup!

Now with its own name, and beautiful Oktoberfest themed cans, this one isn't just for your stein at the brewery, you can take it home!

The "Nordlichter" is the German work for northern lights, and also doubles as an affectionate way to refer to folks from the north of the country. We Smithereens are no strangers to the northern lights ourselves, so we named our take on this fruity Berlin-style sour wheat ale appropriately.

🍻 Oktoberfest tickets are FLYING now, don't forget to come get yours at the brewery before this coming Saturday!!
