🌾 Hay season has definitely been a challenge this year!
Between the unpredictable weather, rain, and those small windows of dry weather, getting hay made hasn’t been quite as straightforward as we’d hoped. But we’re still going, one field at a time! 💪🚜
There’s something pretty special about watching a field go from standing hay, to rows in the field, to bales ready to be brought home. And even when the weather makes us work a little harder for it, we’re grateful to be able to keep doing what we love. 🌾
These pictures are a little glimpse into hay season around the farm — from cutting and baling, to getting the bales home and seeing the finished product out in the field. 🐴
And this is only the beginning! 👀
We’ve got lots of exciting plans in the works for the farm over the next year. New projects, new ideas, and plenty of growing and learning along the way. We can’t wait to share more of what’s coming! ❤️
For now, we’ll keep working with what the weather gives us and making the most of every good hay day.

Hay season 2026 so far

Hay season is here, which means more tractors and equipment on the roads again. As a family farm we ask that everyone please take the safety of everyone, including yourself, seriously around slow moving farm equipment. We are all just trying to make a living and want to go home to our families at the end of the day. If you see equipment moving down the road please slow down, pay attention and make sure it is safe to pass before doing so.

To our loyal egg customers,

Due to rising costs we will be raising the price of our eggs so we can continue to serve you. Effective today, May 8th, 2026 a dozen eggs will rise from $5/dozen to $6/dozen.

We thank everyone for being loyal to us and we hope you will continue to be going forward.

Also be on the lookout later this summer/early fall for new egg colours to be added to cartons!

We hit the ground running this spring getting ready for hay season this year. Along with starting the process of getting what we need to do our spring equipment maintenance we have added two new pieces!

After much searching and discussions we have added a F-250 to the line up as a farm truck. We have also added a 9ft discbine to the lineup.

Stay tuned to see how these two pieces will fit in to hay season this year and how they will give us a boost!
