The SEEEEEED! Nope it isn't 1983, that is my 1974 IH766 pulling my MF33 seeder from sometime in the early 80's (I think, never really looked into when that seeder was made). Is the 766 a bit heavy on the horsepower for the job, yes, yes it is but I don't care I love that tractor almost as much as I love driving it.

With how wet everything was I didn't know if I would be able to do my field augmentation this year. but this beautiful weather we have had made my test field dry up in a hurry and with rain in the forecast for this week, I was able to get it in today.

The hens have started laying again! If we have extra eggs after we fulfill our pre-orders we will be putting the egg box out Fridays and maybe Saturdays. With the rising cost of feed and replacement hens it is difficult to stay at $5 a dozen but we will avoid raising the price of eggs for as long as we can.

Yes, I am still here. Yes I am still farming. Yes we are still open for business. We have been busy little beavers this winter and we can't wait for the warmer weather and market season to kick off. Lots of things to share all in due time because I am the kind of guy that believes that until the paperwork has been signed nothing is guaranteed. Oh, and if you were wondering what that tan thing in on the front of my sexy 766, that is called a "heat houser" or a "wind breaker", it is there to help (older) tractors get up to and stay at operating temperature while working in this brutal cold.
