The SEEEEEED! Nope it isn't 1983, that is my 1974 IH766 pulling my MF33 seeder from sometime in the early 80's (I think, never really looked into when that seeder was made). Is the 766 a bit heavy on the horsepower for the job, yes, yes it is but I don't care I love that tractor almost as much as I love driving it.

With how wet everything was I didn't know if I would be able to do my field augmentation this year. but this beautiful weather we have had made my test field dry up in a hurry and with rain in the forecast for this week, I was able to get it in today.

Spring has sprung! Or at least the hens think it has, they are laying gangbusters right now! We are putting the honour egg box out every day now, so stop on by and get your eggs. Don't forget we also have highland beef as well as heritage pork, I will start taking turkey reservations in June.

The hens have started laying again! If we have extra eggs after we fulfill our pre-orders we will be putting the egg box out Fridays and maybe Saturdays. With the rising cost of feed and replacement hens it is difficult to stay at $5 a dozen but we will avoid raising the price of eggs for as long as we can.
