Our apples are growing beautifully under the summer sun, and every walk through the orchard reminds us that good things take time.

Harvest is still a little while away, but if all goes well, we'll be picking fresh apples this September.

The cherry orchard is slowly coming to life.

Every day, more clusters of cherries turn from golden orange to deep red, painting the orchard with the colors of summer.

We are learning, watching, and patiently waiting for the perfect moment to harvest. With a few more weeks of sunshine, these cherries will develop their beautiful sweet-tart flavor.

We can’t wait to share our first cherry harvest with you.

Water is officially flowing at Vicaus Orchard.

A few days ago we celebrated the successful drilling of our new well. Today, Jeff and the team from JDF Plumbing & HVAC completed the installation of the pump, pressure tank, and hydrant.

It's always satisfying to see a project go from an idea, to a plan, and finally become reality.

Thank you, Jeff, for helping bring this project to life. One more piece of infrastructure is now in place as we continue building Vicaus Orchard for the future.

New Well Successfully Completed at Vicaus Orchard!

A big milestone for our farm this week! Our new well has been drilled to a depth of 120 feet and is producing approximately 34 gallons per minute (GPM). This strong and reliable water source will support future orchard irrigation, barn operations, fruit washing, and the continued growth and expansion of the farm

Water is one of the most important investments for a growing orchard, and we're excited to take this next step forward.

At Vicaus Orchard, one of the hidden gems on our farm is this beautiful block of University of Saskatchewan cherries now in full bloom.

These hardy prairie cherries were developed through decades of Canadian research to survive harsh winters while still producing rich, flavourful fruit. After years of growing and settling into the land, our cherry bushes are now entering their productive years here at Vicaus.

Every spring bloom is a reminder that orchards are built with patience, time, and hope for the seasons ahead.

Spring has arrived at Vicaus Orchard, and the work begins again.

Over 6,000 apple trees are waking up after a long winter. These days are focused on careful pruning and providing the nutrients each tree needs for a strong and healthy season ahead.

Every cut matters. Every tree requires attention, patience, and consistent work to shape the orchard for the year to come.

This is the beginning of the journey toward this year’s harvest. We look forward to seeing these rows filled with green leaves, blossoms, and fruit in the months ahead.

Today marks the beginning of our apple tree pruning for the season.

Pruning is one of the most important steps in the orchard. It helps shape the trees, improves sunlight and airflow, and sets the foundation for healthy growth and better fruit in the months ahead.

Each cut is made with care, guided by what the tree needs and what the season will bring.

This is where the next harvest truly begins.
