Only 2 more markets left! It has been a great season and I could not have done it without my best Friday volunteer, Stevi ! Stevi has been packing veggies for me for many years and she is a big part of helping me get the veggies to market. You may recognize her as the parking attendant at the Sooke Country Market - it is amazing people like Stevi that are always willing to step up and help out. Thank you Stevi, I could not do this without you.

Last market of the season for Kaidyn. Thank you so much for supporting his baking business and helping him earn the money he needs for tuition to continue his studies at the Canadian College of Performing Arts.
The Sooke Country Market continues until Oct 10 and we will be there with lots of veggies until then.

When you farm on your own, volunteers are so appreciated. This season I have been so lucky to have Alan volunteer on my farm. Not only does he help with the daily jobs but he always has a way of keeping me laughing even on the hardest days. Thank you Alan for keeping me going this season.
Lots of veggies this week at the Sooke Country Market - still lots of tomatoes, potatoes, beans, carrots, zucchini, cucumber and so much more.

Wow it is a big week for tomatoes! We will have lots of big tomatoes and sweet cherry tomatoes at the Sooke Country Market this Saturday. The days are getting shorter and soon they will be gone, so get them while you can.

It's race weekend! I won't be at the market this Saturday but my amazing family will be there to run our stand while I do a triathlon in Vancouver. We will have lots of amazing tomatoes at the market, perfect for tomato sandwiches. It is a short season so enjoy them while you can! 🍅🍅🍅

One of the best parts about being a farmer is that you can run through the sprinklers whenever you like. With this hot weather everything is growing fast and we will have so many veggies at the Sooke Country Market this Saturday. It's a great time to eat fresh produce.

YAY ! 🍅🍅 It is tomato season! Those small tomato seeds I started almost 6 months ago are finally producing yummy tomatoes. It is was a long wait but nothing tastes as good as a fresh tomato sandwich! We will have lots of big colourful tomatoes at the Sooke Country Market this Saturday. We will be there rain or shine!

We are a market family! For the last 15 years our family has been going to the market together. The kids have grown up at the market and although market days are busy it is one of my favourite times as a family. This season we are all in - Jazzy helping with the kids tent, Kaidyn selling his cookies, Matt keeping the parking in order and me selling at our stand and managing the market. It has been an amazing journey being a part of the Sooke Country Market . Hope to see you all this Saturday!
