💜 A Little Season Update from Eastport Lane Lavender Farm 💜

We will be closed for the rest of this week, but we’ll be back open Saturday from 11 AM–5 PM.

🌿 Saturday will be our LAST OPEN DAY of the 2026 lavender season! 🌿

If you’ve been meaning to come out for one last wander through the lavender, pick up a bundle, visit the Lav Shack, or grab some of your favourite lavender products, Saturday is the day! 💜

It’s hard to believe another lavender season is coming to an end. Thank you so much to everyone who visited, picked lavender, shopped, chatted, took photos, and supported our little farm this year. Your support means more than you know. 🥰

We still have lots happening behind the scenes as we finish harvesting, drying and distilling, so keep following along for updates throughout the year.

🌧️ Mother Nature has other plans today! 🌿💜

Due to an extremely wet and windy day here at the farm, we will be closed today, unless the weather clears up later.

The lavender is still beautiful, and we’ll be back at it Wednesday from 11–5 for you to wander, pick some lavender, and visit the Lav Shack. 💜

The lavender is keeping us busy! 💜🌿

We’re harvesting in the upper field, hanging some lavender to dry and distilling the rest into our beautiful lavender essential oil.

For now, we’re leaving the lower field open for you to wander, enjoy the views, soak up the lavender and, of course, pick your own while there’s still time! 🐝💜

The season is coming to an end very soon, so if you’ve been thinking about visiting, now is the time!

Come for a walk, pick a bundle, visit the Lav Shack, or simply sit for a while and enjoy a little lavender moment.

🌿 There’s more to lavender than just being pretty… 💜

Have you ever wondered why we hang our lavender upside down after harvesting?

It’s one of those simple little things that makes a big difference. 🌿

💜 It helps keep the stems nice and straight
💜 Allows for good airflow while it dries
💜 Helps preserve that beautiful colour and fragrance
💜 And gives us lovely dried lavender to use throughout the year

And this is where the fun really begins! Once it’s dried, our lavender can become beautiful wreaths, bouquets, sachets, culinary products and so many other things we make here at Eastport Lane Lavender Farm.

I love knowing that the lavender we grow in the summer can be enjoyed long after the fields have finished blooming. 💜

So when you see those bundles hanging wherever we have room… now you know there’s a little bit of farm magic happening behind the scenes. 😊

Nature’s beauty doesn’t have to end when summer does. 🌿💜

💜 The lavender is so beautiful right now! 💜

The season is ending quickly, so don’t miss your chance to come enjoy it! 🌿

Drop in to pick up a pre-cut bundle or wander through the field and cut your own lavender. 💜

Tomorrow I’ll be distilling lavender for essential oil and hanging some to dry for future wreaths, bouquets and all the other lavender goodies I love to make here at the farm. 🌾

Be sure to stop into the Lav Shack to browse, then take a little time to walk around the farm—or simply sit and watch the bees busy at work among the lavender. 🐝💜
