🍎 That’s a wrap for the 2025 season at Red Point Orchard!
The last apples have been picked, packed, and shipped out, and just like that, our orchard season has come to a close. Our final bags of Basin Head Honeycrisp, Beachside Gala, and Red Rock Ambrosia have been delivered to Souris Remedy’s, so if you’re hoping for one last taste of the season, stop in!
It was a quick but wonderful season. The crop was bountiful, the flavour was fantastic, and we were lucky to enjoy great weather for U-Pick this year.
🌾 To our community:
This season reminded us why we love living here. The support and willingness to help at a moment’s notice is something special. When our tractor broke down with a crew waiting, one call and a neighbour was in our yard with theirs. That doesn’t happen everywhere, but it sure does here at home.
👨👩👧 To our family:
Thank you for the time, love, and many helping hands. Whether it was showing up after long days, helping with the kids, or pitching in on busy weekends, we felt the support. A special shout-out to Megan’s brother, who came through more than once with a larger tractor and the skill to run it when we needed to move bins.
🍎 To Kathryn and Lydia:
Thank you for running the stand with friendly, flexible, welcoming service. You helped make visits extra special, and we’re grateful for the work you put in.
👨🌾 To Dad:
Thank you for helping make the orchard more than just a place to pick apples. You put in countless hours to ensure everyone had a memorable visit. If you stopped by this year, there’s a good chance you shared a story or a laugh with him. He loves meeting people, figuring out where you’re from, and if you were “from away,” he often had a tale or a connection to your hometown. We welcomed visitors from BC, Ontario, Nova Scotia, and across the United States, and Dad helped make each visit personal.
