Got the plastic up on one of two caterpillar tunnels today. No bad considering how windy it was and it was our first time. Big thanks to Eric for the help.

Tunnels are all planted! Heirloom tomatoes, jalapenos+serranos, eggplants, and some other hot peppers. drip line irrigation. and a bit of lettuce+radish interplanted with the tomatoes (they'll be mature and harvested before the tomatoes get really big).

Also planted some nightshades in the field; tomatillos, shish*tos, sweet peppers, Hungarian round peppers, and some field tomatoes. And ground cherries. And summer squash. And cucumber. So much transplanting!!!

May is almost here!

spring is such a busy time on the farm. We wait for favourable conditions to open up brief windows to work the ground before it rains again. Nursery is packed. Garlic is really taking off. always a big to do list.

In May we will be sowing many garden beds with lots of delicious veg to be enjoyed in the Harvest Box program. We've got a few infrastructure projects to wrap up like a new pump system and final touches on the walk in cooler. And then all the heat loving seedlings will make their way into the ground as we get to June. Cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, tomatillos, ground cherries, squash. Can't wait!
