Such a sad time, saying our final goodbyes. The last of boarded horses leave today.

These three beautiful yearlings will continue living at Hawkstone until they sell. They will be posted for sale soon. All three are kept up to date on farrier, vaccinations, etc. Friendly, smart, halter trained. Paperwork in for pending registrations.

Foreground: HS Fergie. Percheron/Appendix/Fjord filly. May 20, 2025. Smooth mover, great bone and feet, very straight and correct. Should mature about 15.2 hands. Potential as a Hunter.

Middle: Hugs O Henry. Gypsy/QH. No 🥜. June 16, 2025. Dam is majorly cowhorse bred and Henry seems to have inherited those instincts and athletic ability. Already has a long, flowing mane for a yearling, and quite a bit of feather for a cross. Should mature about 14 to 14.2 hands. This will be one flashy horse to show up at any Western athletic event, or just a trail ride!

Background: HS Titan Steel. Drum (Gypsy X Clydesdale). No 🥜. June 29, 2026. Should mature at least 16 hands. Both parents are super loving and "born broke", and so is he. Titan is FLASHY! With four tall white socks and very cool markings throughout. Voluptuous mane, tail and feather!

Our top two all-time video posts. They both brought, and are continuing to bring, smiles and joy to a lot of people! It feels good to share something positive, and that makes me smile.

The one video received over 5500 views. It was a video of saucy little Nanaimo, a miniature pony, trying to beat up her blanket after it was put on her 🤣🤣🤣.

The other, a recent 2026 video of spectacular Drum c**t, Titan, running in the snow after being called. His video quickly overtook our record number of views and is now approaching 1 million views!

Although we use social media as our best marketing tool for our boarding services, we've never experienced the online world all that much. It took getting used to the occasional commenter who was visibly worried, and sometimes even ANGRY!!!!...!!!!! Demanding we take action immediately, since they know best from viewing a few seconds of a video and know nothing about the horse nor the context of its age, health or care.

I mention my top two videos, because it's somewhat amuzing that the negative responses were polar opposite. With Nanaimo, we received a LOT of angry people telling us our pony was overheated having a blanket on in the barn. With Titan, it was people demanding I lock him up in a stall because he was cold.

With Nanaimo's video, we deleted all the negative comments. Since then, we've learned to use the negative comments on our videos to educate people about horses' needs, especially in a Northern climate. We remind people how important mental health is for horses when it comes to their day to day life and care.

Overall, it's been a great experience. Thank you to those who have watched our videos. We hope they brightened your day! P.S.: You can click on "Reels" at the top of our page, to find our videos.
