Fall magic is full swing at the property and I’ve been BUSY. From stacking wood, to putting roofs on animal pens, and harvesting a billion tomatoes - I’m so excited for things to calm down. While I can’t seem to resist creating new projects for myself, the rain is forcing me to slow down (which is probably good). Today I’m attempting to just appreciate the beauty from all this sweat equity instead of donning rain gear and getting back to work. Just look at it 😍

If anyone here watches my YouTube videos, there’s been a pause in the uploads while I try to get my to do list done. I’ll be back on soon with lots of new videos including a chicken coop tour, the bunny palace tour, and a greenhouse tour!

What a view! Did some light pruning on one Douglas fir and removed a large hanger from another. Can you spot it?

Fun fact: I purposefully left a few stubs behind - a great way to help view pruning look more natural and wildlife friendly! The birds love them!

A fabulous multi-sport day 😊

This week we got to remove 12 sketchy, dead, skinny, bark beetle infested Douglas fir trees looming over a house on Chuckanut drive. It was a good challenge, gorgeous view, and went perfectly. And I actually got some before and after pics!

Also, I’ve been intentionally NOT marketing my tree service since I’ve been getting plenty of work. But if you ever need your trees pruned or removed let me know.

Waldschmidt Tree Service is your trees’ first choice! And we’re licensed, bonded, and insured.
