We’re excited to share that Jeff has joined SABRI Farms as a new employee, supporting the farm for 200 hours through the Amplify Program — and he already has one week under his belt!

Jeff is helping with the day-to-day work that keeps our hydroponic farm growing and producing fresh, local products for our region.

A sincere thank you to Community Sector Council Newfoundland and Labrador for providing funding through the Amplify Program to make this opportunity possible. Support like this helps strengthen local projects, build skills, and create meaningful work experience right here in our community.

We’re looking forward to having Jeff as part of the team and continuing to grow fresh, local food for the region! 🌱

We’re excited to share an update on the healthy vending machine that will be placed at Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital!

The operation of the machine will be transitioning to SABRI Innovation, with SABRI Farms set to provide fresh, leafy green salads for the community to enjoy once it’s up and running.

A big thank you to everyone who completed our survey — we received nearly 100 responses! Your feedback is incredibly helpful as the machine gets ready to offer convenient, healthy options for staff, patients, visitors, and the general public.

We look forward to seeing this initiative come to life and providing fresh, local salads in a convenient new way. 🥬🌱
