Teddy bear first birthday .. three layers of moist chocolate cake filled with toasted marshmallow buttercream, Graham cracker crumble with chocolate drizzle, and iced with vanilla buttercream.
Teddy bear picnic decorations include fondant blanket, teddies, daisies, a special “happy birthday”, #1, name banner and all topped off with colourful chocolate balloons.
Such a fun cake for a special little girl.

LUSH inspired birthday cupcakes .. vanilla cupcakes, pink, purple, and Tiffany blue buttercream, shortbread chocolate “ bath bomb” , fun fondant details all packed up ready to go.
Such fun, and completely edible.

“Over the top” flowers & books.
Bottom cake .. Chocolate cake, raspberry filling, vanilla buttercream with chocolate shortbread bark, edible moss, tea cup with flowers & handcrafted book.
Middle cake .. one chocolate & one vanilla cake layer, toasted marshmallow buttercream with Graham cracker crumble, fresh garden pansies, tea cup flowers, foraged greenery, handcrafted book.
Top cake .. Vanilla cake with chunky lemon curd filling, vanilla buttercream, fresh garden roses, foraged greenery, handcrafted “Happy Birthday” book, foraged greenery.
Little gold bees, & fresh lavender round out the look.
Matching decorated shortbread with touches of gold, & fruit filled macarons decorated with handcrafted ganache flowers.

These vibrant fresh locally grown flowers are the perfect decoration for a decadent chocolate cake, strawberry filling and velvety vanilla buttercream.
This was a different shape cake for me to do, but think it suits the florals beautifully.

S’mores cake for a camp fire loving daughter in law 🥰
Tender Graham cracker crumb cake layered with chocolate ganache, toasted marshmallow buttercream & graham cracker crumble.
Decorated with marshmallow buttercream, chocolate ganache drip, Graham cracker crumble, fondant fairy door & snails, fresh spruce tips, sugar work flames and it wouldn’t be a s’mores cake without the toasted marshmallows.
S’mores in cake form .. doesn’t get better than that !
