For me, it is about the whole experience and journey of preparing food from scratch. The end result is just the bonus :)

Six months yesterday…. and we are nowhere near coming to terms of losing you. But for now, if it helps heal our hearts a little, we will see you in every sunset and all the beauty around us. We love you ❤️

A month ago today, you were taken from us. I never thought that my next visit home would be to say goodbye to you….
We are still in shock and absolutely devastated.
You fought hard and so bravely and I am still in absolute awe of your strength and courage and your grace through it all. Sleep well my darling Sis. I know you are now with Daddy.
We will never be the same without you…

We decided not to have turkey for Christmas, since we had one for Thanksgiving…. but instead got a sirloin roast from Newlander Meat Shop . Cooked absolutely beautifully and it was tender and juicy. And even though I did a sauce , it honestly would have been fine without 😋
Thanks Steve for accommodating us, as always 🙌

That day when we said I do …. and I promised to disobey 😜
A week before Christmas. A destination wedding. Suitcases and wedding dress checked and triple checked. Summer wedding and it rained. My hair was a mess, my feet hurt because strappy heels… but it was a magical day, surrounded with so much love and joy and even more so, after I ditched the heels for ballet flats!

Have a great day! Only 6 more sleeps 🎄
See you at The Lantern tomorrow if you ordered.

14 degrees and sunny … yes we will absolutely take it . Regret wearing a coat though, because it was very warm. And this boy wanted to go swimming 🥹

Unfortunately I had to cancel my shift tomorrow… Christmas parties on the go. But I will be back for my final shift of the year next Friday… hope to see you then.
Enjoy this lovely weather everyone ❤️💚

Three years ago today…. we became Canadian citizens. Ireland will always be home, but for now, we are happy to call Newfoundland home and thankful for all the people we have met over the years, the ones I have met on here, the ones we meet fleetingly and the ones with whom we have bonded with. Have a lovely weekend everyone 💚❤️
