Next up for our vendor highlight is Seafoods. In 2015, after years of rave reviews from friends and family, Christine and Roy Power decided to turn a hobby of theirs into a business, Goodwater Seafoods. Goodwater Seafoods is a local family-owned and operated seafood company, focused primarily on smoked products. They make and sell smoked salmon, cod, and turbot, as well as salt fish, fish cakes, and salmon dip. You can find their smoked salmon and salmon dip on the food hub weekly!

Next up in our vendor highlight series is Mamacita Mexican Kitchen & Latin Market! Mamacita's is the place to go for authentic Mexican food and treats! Through years of inspiration through cooking, they look forward to presenting the best flavours and variety of Mexican food. They are honoured to share their traditions from Mexico here in Canada, cooking together as the blended “Mexicanadian” family they represent.

Mamacita’s is also one of our partner pick-up locations, so not only can you purchase their products through the hub, but you can also select Mamacita’s as your local pick-up location!

Our vendors have some exciting seasonal items listed this week, including locally foraged chanterelle mushrooms! These mushrooms are known for their sweet, earthy flavour and can be used in many different dishes. Most people prefer to cook them simply, sautéed with a bit of butter and garlic, to allow their natural flavour to shine.

Green Farm NL is a hyper-local indoor Hydroponics farm based in Mt. Pearl, NL. They focus on growing leafy greens, herbs, and microgreens year round that are more affordable, longer lasting, better tasting, and more full of nutrients than imported alternatives.
