Today at Ataboy Farms, we're rolling up our sleeves and getting ready for another garlic-growing season!

πŸ§„ First job on the list… CRACKING GARLIC!

Every beautiful bulb of garlic starts with a little hard work. Today, we've started cracking our garlic bulbs, separating them into individual cloves that will soon be planted in our Ontario soil on our farm.

It's a time-consuming process, but it's where the magic begins! πŸ’š

Each clove we plant this fall will spend the winter tucked beneath the soil, ready to wake up in the spring and grow into the beautiful garlic bulbs we'll harvest next summer.

And that garlic? It's the same garlic that goes into so many of your favourite Ataboy Farms products! πŸ§„β€οΈ

A MOMENT OF PRIDE, GRATITUDE & REFLECTION
Some moments make you stop, take a breath, and realize just how far you've come.

Today, I'm feeling incredibly honoured and humbled to receive a special recognition from MP Lianne Rood in celebration of the International Year of the Woman Farmer 2026.

When I bought the farm I never imagined where this journey would take me. What began with a passion for growing garlic and creating delicious, quality products has grown into something so much bigger than I ever dreamed.

But behind every bottle, every package, every farmers' market, and every new store carrying our products, there's a story.

A story of early mornings, long days, late nights, hard work, sacrifices & challenges.

Being a woman in agriculture and running a family business isn't always easy. There are days that test your strength, your patience, and your determination. But there is also something incredibly rewarding about watching something you've poured your heart and soul into grow.

I'm proud to be a woman in agriculture. Proud to grow food here in Ontario. Proud of the business we've built. And incredibly grateful for the opportunity to share a little piece of our farm with families across our communities.

This recognition isn't just about me. It's about the family who stands beside me, the people who believe in what we're building, the retailers who give our products a place on their shelves, and every single customer who has supported Ataboy Farms along the way.

To all the hardworking women in agriculture β€” the farmers, growers, producers, keep pushing forward. Your hard work matters. Your dedication matters.

Our Homestyle Broccoli Cheddar Soup Mix makes comfort food EASY. Just add 6 cups of water + 1 cup of milk, simmer for about 30 minutes, and dinner is served! πŸ₯£

Our dip mixes aren’t just for dipping! Keep a few in the pantry and discover how easy it is to add Ataboy flavour to everyday meals.

French Onion Beef & Noodles

Featuring Ataboy Farms French Onion Dip Mix

You’ll Need:

1 lb (454 g) ground beef
1 packet Ataboy French Onion Dip Mix
3 cups beef broth
3 cups uncooked egg noodles
Β½ cup sour cream
1 tbsp Ataboy Garlic Spread (optional, but recommended)

Directions
Brown ground beef in a large skillet and drain excess fat. Stir in French Onion Dip Mix and beef broth. Bring to a boil.

Add egg noodles, reduce heat, cover and simmer for approximately 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until noodles are tender.

Remove from heat and stir in sour cream and Garlic Spread.

SERVES 4–6

Ataboy Tip:
Add sliced mushrooms while browning the beef.
