See you the Market tomorrow in a slightly different location. I will be on the east side of Water St. somewhere in the middle of the line up of vendors. Lettuce, mixed salad greens, Walla Walla sweet onion, bunches of Spanish onions, zucchini, green/yellow beans, fingerling potatoes and more!

Just in time for the summer solstice, the summer lettuce (a popular green Batavian called Nevada) will make its first appearance at the St. Marys Farmers' Market this Saturday. There will be other types of lettuce as well - the always popular red Batavian (Magenta) which shines throughout the growing season, green romaine (Green Towers), green oakleaf (Bauer) plus bags of mixed salad greens (a mix of lettuces),

No greens yet but I will be at the Market with organic beef from Stew and Mari. In addition, I will have a petition I encourage you to sign. It asks the Government of Canada to reverse the planned closures and staff layoffs at important Ag Canada Research Centres. Lots of goodies from others at the Market on Saturday.
