Golden and crispy on the outside, beautifully fluffy in the middle, and all thanks to a little beef cooking tallow.

Lightly spiced, subtly warming, with a gorgeous natural sweetness from the beeswax. And despite the name, this one's lovely for the whole winter season. 🤎

I was very pleased with how the little glass pots turned out. The push-up tubes, on the other hand… well, you'll see. 😂

Something a little different from my usual whipped tallow balms!

Clove, star anise and pink peppercorn infused into tallow, blended with my Signature ingredients and poured into a beautifully smooth, rich balm.

A lovely, subtle botanical scent, with no added essential oils. Just a little autumn goodness for your skin. 🤎

A little Stonetown Tallow update 🤍

There are going to be a few changes happening behind the scenes here over the next few weeks, because at the end of October our family is relocating to Alberta.

It feels very strange writing that, especially because St. Marys is where Stonetown Tallow began — but this isn't a goodbye post, and Stonetown Tallow isn't going anywhere.

When I think back to the very first jar of tallow I made all that time ago, and then look at what this business has become today, I'm incredibly proud of how far it's come.

And so much of that is because of you.

To everyone who bought a jar, came to a market, placed an order, shared a post, tested one of my many experiments, gave me feedback or simply told someone else about Stonetown Tallow — thank you.

And a particularly huge thank you to the local businesses who took a chance on a very new small business and gave my products a place on their shelves. 🤍

I'll continue supplying my local stockists here in Ontario, and I'll be rendering and making as much as I possibly can over the next couple of weeks before the equipment gets packed away. Once we're settled in Alberta, production starts again.

And I genuinely believe it's only going to get better.

The products and range have evolved so much since that first jar, and moving won't change that. I'll still be just as ridiculously fussy about what goes into them, how they're made and what eventually makes it into a jar.

Same Stonetown Tallow. Same small batches. Just with a few more mountains in the background. 🏔️🤍

You asked. I listened. And then I spent months obsessing over it. 😂

Since my very first market, I’ve had people asking me whether I’d make something specifically for the under-eye area.

So I started experimenting.

There have been different formulations, lots of tweaking, a brilliant group of testers, and rather a lot of coffee… but I think we’ve finally got it. 🤎

Our new Coffee-Infused Under-Eye Tallow Balm combines coffee-infused tallow with bakuchiol, CoQ10, vitamin E, jojoba and calendula-infused castor oil.

And while I could tell you how much I love it, I’d much rather let the people who’ve actually been testing it tell you. 👆

Their feedback over the last few months has been pretty incredible — and seeing comments like these is exactly why I don’t rush a product out just for the sake of launching something new.

It’s a little pot, but a tiny dab (less really is more) is all you need for the under-eye area.
