We had such a great time at the Prince Albert Exhibition Summer Beef Show and are so proud of how our crew and cattle represented Willow Lane Land & Cattle.

A huge thank you to our crew, Ty, Adrian, Austin, Brenda and Scott, who went above and beyond all week. Between getting cattle ready, keeping things running at the stalls and stepping in wherever needed while Makenzie was busy coordinating the show, we truly couldn’t have done it without them. We are incredibly lucky to have a crew that supports both our cattle and everything happening behind the scenes.

We are also very grateful for the PAEX Beef Show Committee and everyone who helped make the show happen. There is so much work that goes on behind the scenes, and we are proud to have been part of another great year at PAEX. Also thank you to the sponsors for all their support!

The results are always exciting, but weekends like this are about so much more than placings. Great cattle, great people, lots of laughs and another PAEX in the books. We’re already looking forward to the next one!

Can't believe it is August already and we are pretty much a month late making this post. The boys had a great weekend at our Achievement Day and Regional Show & Sale. The Regional has grown to be the biggest and definitely one of the most competitive shows in the province. We can not thank all the sponsors and organizers of these two great events enough.

Austin and his heifer Nellie Bean placed top 2 in split at Achievement Day and 2nd in split at Regional. Austin's steer Waffles placed 4th in split at Achievement Day and 3rd in split at Regional.

Ty and his heifer Hera placed 4th in split at Achievement Day and 5th in split at Regional. Ty's steer Zeus placed 3rd in split at Achievement Day and 4th at Regional.

The barns open tomorrow, and we are so excited to welcome all of our exhibitors!

Coralie Ready will be available for hoof trimming at the barns from 12:00–4:00 p.m. If you are arriving later and would like to have an animal trimmed, please contact her to make arrangements.

You can always find Austin helping out with the heavy lifting, or indulging himself in a good conversation. His commitment to the club over the years has been greatly appreciated!

Austin had a good day in the calving barn today! His old 4-H cow, Mary, gave birth to twin bull calves, weighing in at 100lbs each. Earlier in the day, one of Mary’s daughters had a bull calf as well.
