Taking farming to new heights 🚁🌱

Yesterday we put drone technology to work fertilizing our crop fields with precision and efficiency. Using drones allows us to cover fields quickly, reduce waste, reduce damage and crop loss, and give our crops exactly what they need to thrive.

Modern agriculture is all about combining innovation with hard work to grow healthier, stronger crops while caring for the land for future generations.

Plus, it was pretty cool to watch!! Check out our follow up post showing this thing is action!

Exciting news! Cheryl will also be teaching private classes throughout the season!

We are so pleased to announce our first ever Dock Diving House League!

Join us in this low pressure, community-focused environment of fun and dock diving!

We will be hosting 6 sessions, biweekly starting on June 4th.
(June 4th, 18th, July 2nd, 16th, 30th, August 13th)

Cost is $200 for all 6 weeks and that includes $30/session plus a $20 registration fee.

Payment is due within 24 hours of your registration by e-transfer to [email protected].

Each dog will get two opportunities on the dock, with two consecutive jumps each time. The first will be your warm up jumps. The second will be two jumps, the best of those will be your score.

Here is the announcement you have all been waiting for! Cheryl's class schedule is ready!

Classes will be on Tuesdays and Wednesdays starting June 2nd with two classes each night - one beginner and one advanced.

Classes will run in 4 week blocks with a week off in between, and they will be running all summer long.

Big news for our farm family and dog-loving community!

We’re beyond excited to announce that Sega Family Farms is now an officially sanctioned facility for DockDogs!

That means we’ll be hosting licensed DockDogs events right here at the farm — bringing high-flying, tail-wagging, big-splash action to our community. Whether your dog is a seasoned jumper or you’re just looking to get started in the sport, we can’t wait to welcome you.

DockDogs is the world leader in canine dock jumping, and we’re proud to be part of this incredible network of facilities across North America.
