What another exciting day today at A & D Bird Seed & Country Store.. we have fresh picked local Macintosh and Cortland apples from McEachran and Sons Orchard in Duntroon, fresh dug potatoes from our fields, fresh picked pears from our Orchard, and new sourdough bread from The Blue Cottage Artisan ..cheddar cheese and jalapeno cheddar, along with the favorites sourdough bread, apple caramel cinnamon buns and traditional cinnamon buns. At the farm this year we have had a bumper crop of everything...started with peaches, then tomatoes, now zucchini...we just picked a whopper of one....8.18lbs....WOW...that will make alot of zucchini relish. What else is next? Stay tuned....
