We have hit a turning point. Shadow arrived here just over a month ago. Skinny and scared of everything especially us. 😢
Our granddaughter came out a couple weeks ago( she is amazing with animals) this was Shadows turning point where she realized humans are ok.
Yesterday I was able to brush her with a halter and lead rope on, for a solid 15 minutes before she decided that was enough ( I think it is because I tried to touch her legs)
But after she walked up and this pic is the after math of the full on hug, chin in my shoulder blade pulling me in kinda hug. We got you shadow 🩷🩷
Now to tackle her hoofs- the last attempted ending with me on the ground rolling away from her 🤦‍♀️

Ok first off no I am not training for a marathon I know I look like it. 🤣🤣🤣🤣lol
But when you have rescue foster horse that think work outs are dumb you bring your big boy that will do anything in.
Thank you Charles for showing shadow that people are ok and kinda fun. Shadow in the white is scared of being handled but she is coming along.

side market in Stirling Ab has been gracious enough to let us place a donation box on the counter. Every little bit helps and I will forward all donations directly to Bear Valley Rescue
We have three fosters and our 2 that welcomed them. 🩷🩷🩷🩷
