Meet Jack Becker, the newest member of the Stonecrest team, who joined us on March 2, 2026 as a Civil and Structural Engineer in Training.
Jack is a Civil Engineering graduate from Carleton University and currently works across both our Civil and Structural divisions. In the Civil group, he assists with preparing site plans, gathering on site topographic survey shots, and completing various site inspections. His structural work includes performing site visits to review existing structural members and completing calculations to assess the integrity of load bearing elements.
Prior to joining Stonecrest, Jack worked in his familyās agricultural equipment business, Brodie Ag, where he gained experience in a variety of roles over the years. His responsibilities ranged from power washing equipment and completing on-farm mechanical work to eventually managing the parts department. Growing up involved in the agriculture industry gave Jack valuable exposure to agricultural operations and equipment, and sparked his interest in contributing to the industry in a technical capacity. At Stonecrest, he is able to apply that interest by working on the design of agricultural buildings and structures.
What motivates Jack most is seeing how a project develops from initial ideas into a completed building or site, and being able to recognize the work he contributed to as part of that process.
Outside of work, Jack enjoys playing hockey in the winter, and spending time playing fastball, golfing, and fishing during the summer months.
We are excited to welcome Jack to the Stonecrest team and look forward to seeing his continued growth and contributions.
