There’s something special about meeting someone who just gets it. A little throwback to when “The Hungarian Guy” came out to the farm 🇭🇺🐷
From the moment we started talking, it felt like home. Shared roots, shared passion, and a deep respect for the Mangalitsa and everything it represents. Standing in the barn, surrounded by these woolly beauties, it was more than just a visit… it was connection, culture, and a little bit of Hungary right here in Alberta.
This is what it’s all about. Bridging stories, food, and people. And I have a feeling this is just the beginning of something pretty special.

It’s hard to believe it’s been five years since Hampton’s major surgery. An incredible team came out to the farm and removed a massive growth from his neck.
This July, Hampton turns 11 ❤️ He’s officially retired from servicing the ladies and now just living his best life.

Met The Hungarian Guy and his fabulous wife at the market today.
What started as a great conversation about tradition, flavour, and heritage quickly turned into something even more exciting… a collaboration in the works.
When you bring together a sausage maker that is passionate about authentic Hungarian recipes and Me a Mangalitsa farmer that is living her dream raising these beautiful pigs, you just know something special is coming. This is exactly the kind of connection that fuels what I love about this journey, people, stories, and incredible food.
Stay tuned… this is going to be a good one.

There is nothing more exciting than seeing our Red Mangalitsa on a restaurant menu.
These beautiful woolly pigs are raised right here on our farm, and when chefs choose to feature them, it means they believe in the quality, the flavour, the story behind the pork and in ME!
If you’re out for dinner and happen to see Mangalitsa on the menu, do yourself a favour… order it.
Rich, buttery, and full of flavour. This is pork the way it’s meant to taste.
Big thanks to the chefs who believe in supporting local farms and showcasing this incredible breed.

Every dream has a beginning.

Mine started with Hampton and Zsa Zsa. 🐖

Some moms wear rings with their kids’ birthstones… but leave it to this pig farmer to choose the birthstones of two pigs that helped start my Mangalitsa journey.
They are more than just pigs. They were the start of an idea, a risk, and a dream that slowly turned into what Eh Farms is today.

Now I get to carry a little piece of that beginning with me every day.

So grateful to have met Trisha a talented Calgary artist for turning that story into something I can wear.
