Good morning everyone!
Mikaela here! I just wanted to tske a moment and wish my parents a wonderful 45th wedding anniversary! 🎊
They are at the market today so feel free to stop by and say hi to them on this exrra special day!

We did not go to the Penticton Farmers Market today as the smoke was too concentrated for us. So, we have one cherry pie available plus cherries ($4/lb) and peaches ($3/ib) for sale. Message or call 250 809 7807

We have an abundance of beautiful cherries this year. We are taking orders ($4/lb), minimum amount 5 lbs. We are also taking orders for cherry pies ($22/ea). Pick up Wednesday 9:00 am. Message Fair Winds Orchard or phone 250-809-7807.

Having a farm includes having beloved farm animals. We watch these animals grow and we bond with them. Sadly, part of the farm life are unfortunate interactions with the surrounding wildlife. Yesterday we lost one of our favorite Guinea Fowls to an encounter with a bear. This particular Guinea was extra special because she was a genetic anomaly. Where most Guineas are "grey" she is what is called a lavender color. She was kind and sweet and we will miss her very much.
RIP little Lavender. 💔

Alas no more. We have decided not to open the Fair Winds Farm gate this year. It has been fun, chatting with both new and familiar people. On a happier note we will be at the Penticton Farmers Market this Saturday. See you there
