What an incredible day at SIP 2026! 🍷✨
A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our table, shared a glass with us, and took the time to learn more about Lightning Rock Winery. It was a pleasure connecting with so many wine lovers, industry professionals, and fellow exhibitors throughout the day.

We’re grateful to have been part of such a fantastic event celebrating wine, education, and community. Thank you to the SIP team for putting together an amazing experience, and to everyone who helped make the day such a success.

Every vine matters at Lightning Rock.

A lot of people see the finished bottle and never realize how much of the work is still done by hand on steep hillsides like this. W**d control between young vines isn’t done by giant machines. It’s done carefully with w**d eaters, handwork, sweat, dust, and long days in the vineyard.

This week we’re also replanting a few vines that didn’t establish properly last year. Farming isn’t perfect. You keep working, keep improving, and keep building for the future vintage by vintage.

That care, time, and attention is part of why small production wines cost more. We’re not an industrial factory. We’re farming every row with pride because great wine starts long before the grapes ever reach the winery.
