Join us for the 1st Annual Summerland Fall Fair Feast!

Gather around the table for an evening celebrating the slow food movement and the people, farms, and flavours that make Summerland unique.

Inspired by the traditions of the Summerland Fall Fair, this long table dinner is a chance to slow down, share a meal, and connect with the people who grow, raise, make, and pour the food and drink we enjoy.

Prepared by Okanagan Meal Delivery | Chef Jordan using fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced through LocalMotive Organic Delivery , the menu shines a spotlight on local farmers and producers, celebrating the incredible food and drink of our region.
Throughout the evening, enjoy wines, ciders, beers, and spirits from Bottleneck Drive producers at the cash bar, then stay for live music and dancing with Aaron Loewen & Friends.

Whether you’re gathering with neighbours, reconnecting with old friends, or meeting new ones, this is an evening to celebrate local food, local makers, and the community that brings it all together. ❤️

Grape harvest starts soon and the SummerGate team will be busy picking grapes and making delicious wine, so this may be the last weekend for the SummerGate Kitchen. We’ll be serving up hot authentic poutine Friday - Sunday (September 4 - 6).

Stop in, enjoy a bottle of wine and some delicious poutine before it’s gone!

Friday: 4pm - 7pm
Saturday: 12pm - 7pm
Sunday: 12pm - 7pm

Note: poutine and fries are the only items on the menu this weekend.

Wow! Summerland, you showed us what really means!

You supported us for our re-opening day and helped raise funds for families re-building their lives after losing everything in the wildfire, and we are so grateful! It is wonderful to see people together catching up, checking in, and having a good time!

Poutine, fries, and pop will continue to be by donation at the SummerGate Kitchen all weekend! Enjoy a poutine with loved ones and a glass of wine on our patio.🍷

We’re finally back!

After catching up on 2 weeks of missed work while evacuated, we are so ready to re-open our doors!

To welcome everyone home, we’re hosting a Welcome Back Poutine Party all weekend long. Come by for poutine or fries by donation.

We all have friends and neighbours who lost everything in the fire and we want to give them direct, immediate support. Every single dollar dropped in our donation jar will go straight to local families rebuilding their lives.

Also, we’re staying open a little later this weekend so we all have time to sit, chat, catchup, and be together.

Summerland we've missed you!

Sorry we couldn't reopen right away! We've been busy catching up on 2 weeks of vineyard work: final mowing, installing bird netting, talking to insurance adjusters, and testing grapes in anticipation of harvest 2026 which is going to be great!

With clear skies ahead, we're hosting a Welcome Back Poutine Party at SummerGate Winery all this weekend - free poutine by donation, with all poutine sale donations going to support neighbours who've lost their homes in the fire. Come reconnect and stand together as a community.

Gillian, Mike and family returned to SummerGate on Thursday to heavy smoke in the air and ash everywhere, but healthy vineyards, tall grass, and sunflowers in bloom.

We were one of the fortunate ones with a place to come home to, and we are forever grateful.

Gillian will be in the wine shop this week as we clean up and reset for our reopening next weekend. Feel free to stop in and have a chat as we all process the events of the last two weeks.

Now more than ever, we need community, we need to check in on each other, we need to share our stories.
