ADL Has been producing quality Island dairy products for 70 years - Since 1953. ADL Has five processing facilities across PEI that produce milk, cheese, butter, eggnog, evaporated milk, and sweetened condensed milk. ADL Also operates a Foodservice facili

ty that services PEI restaurants and other hospitality businesses, healthcare institutions, etc. (ADL Foods) as well as a retail store that's open to the general public (The ADL Store in Summerside, PEI). ADL Products are available Island-wide, and our Dairy Isle brand of cheese and butter can be found across Atlantic Canada.

After an Incredible 37-year Career, Gail Ellis has retired from our Finance team 🎉

Gail joined ADL in 1989 as a Bookkeeper. She progressed to Senior Accountant & was promoted to Corporate Treasurer. In 2013, she added the role of Corporate Secretary to her duties, working closely with our Dairy Producers & board of directors. Gail then continued to lead our finance department as Chief Financial Officer & Associate Treasurer.

Listening to Gail’s memories & advice was a wonderful reminder that the Strength of a Co-operative is Built through our People & Relationships. Her Commitment to Connecting with ADL staff, producers, suppliers & customers will continue to guide ADL for years to come.

Congratulations to Kevin Conrad! 🎉After a Remarkable 46-year Career, Kevin has retired from our Cheese Processing team.

Kevin started his ADL journey with our cheese Packaging division before joining our Warehouse team. In 2009, Kevin returned to production where he was promoted to Cheese Production Supervisor.

What stood out most in celebrating Kevin, was the sense of Pride he feels in ADL & our Team. We certainly share in his pride & greatly Value his Dedication & Leadership over his incredible career.

Earlier this week, we gathered for our Annual General Meeting - Thank You to the many ADL Member-Owners who gathered with us for Updates on your Co-operative!

We also extend our heartfelt Thanks to Retiring ADL Board Members, Ids Lycklama A Nyeholt, Abe Buttimer, Garth Gorrill & Henry Nijhof. Your Leadership & Expertise were crucial to Guiding ADL's operations - We greatly value your Contributions to the PEI Dairy industry.
