I’ve always hated windy nights. Wind is expensive. Just got in from a fun little hammer and nail adventure in this particular wind storm. The farm being vacant for the last couple years while the vultures gobbled up bits and pieces sure is making for a lot of catch up - but there isn’t a soul on earth that could or wants to do it any better!

We were happy to share a part of the Farm’s Heritage at Poley Mountain’s Open Lodge this past weekend. We hope to see lots of family photos taken on the sleigh floating around SM this week!

The sleigh was made by the McLaughlan Carriage Company (1869-1915) - which later became General Motors of Canada (1918).
