SGL Nitty Gritty 106N

Balanced is the word I would use to describe Nitty Gritty. Smooth made bull that doesn’t give up muscle expression. He is also backed by a very productive cow family which is why he has a 32 Milk EPD.

HEIFER BULL ALERT!

SGL New Man 123N

This bull is made the right way for use on heifers. He is smooth from head to tail and has a light birthweight to go with. His Sire SGL Knight was our heifer bull for a few years and he stamped his calves with calving ease and performance.

Natural is absolutely a natural when it it comes to hip shape, depth and length of body. His Dam SGL Kiss and Tell UDX 27K is an Electric Impact daughter and a half sib to SGL Nickel 32N who sold to Trevor Atchison this past fall.

We have had a very blessed year! God has taken care of us in so many different ways and we are so Thankful. Here are a few points to recap the 2025 year.

🔶 New Heifer Bull SGL Lone Wolf 160L
🔶Summer storms that brought much needed rain at the end of July and start of August.
🔶CJLA Impact Show in Swift Current was a highlight of our summer.
🔶Showing and selling SGL Nickel 32N in the Western Select Sale. Thanks to Trevor Atchison for your purchase.
🔶Showing our first Fugitive daughter SGL New Era who was an eye catcher in the show ring.
🔶We had extended fall grazing this year which really helped bring down some feed costs.
🔶 Last but not least we had a great visit from four special Australians.

A week from today SGL Nickel 32N sells as Lot 24 in the Western Select Sale. She has only got better with age and we believe she will develop into a high producing cow. Many will remember Nickel’s show partner SGL New Era 35N who’s Dam is a full sibling to Nickel’s Dam. Video of Nickel is coming soon.
