Every now and then, it takes a set of commercial cattle reminds us what our business is really about.

Pictured are Adrian Goode of South Australia (left) with Luke after the Spry's Shorthorns sale in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales this past April. They're holding a framed photo that the Spry family presented to Adrian of a set of his grass-finished steers. 100% of these Shorthorn steers are carrying the influence of Muridale Thermal Energy 15A as either their sire or grandsire.

• 62 steers averaged 827 lbs Hot Carcass Weight (375 kg HSCW).
• 97% qualified as Milk Tooth, meaning they remained youthful while reaching impressive carcass weights.
• 98.5% graded into the Premium Teys Grassland Program, one of Australia's premier branded grass-fed beef programs.

Those numbers don't happen by accident.

Thermal Energy was bred by Muridale Shorthorns in Canada with ownership shared between Bowman Superior Genetics in the USA and Spry's Shorthorns in Australia. More importantly, he represents a breeding philosophy shared by all three programs.
