Thank you to everyone who stopped by to support us and sample our new Mexican street food setup over the past few weeks.
When we launched this menu, we poured long hours, genuine passion, and significant capital into sourcing fresh ingredients, acquiring equipment, and creating something new for Cape Breton.
Unfortunately, between high operating costs, intensive prep time, and significant food waste—compounded by a shortened season due to poor summer weather—running this specific menu full-time is simply not sustainable for our small business. Continuing to throw away freshly prepared food isn't something we can afford to do, forcing us to pivot much sooner than expected with a new venture.
Moving forward, we will be returning to our core menu, though we plan to feature items from the Mexican lineup as periodic specials.
We truly appreciate everyone who came out to try something new and support our business.
