Our Back to School event is on, rain or shine! But don't forget your rain boots 🫣🌊

We will be having a back to school event on Labor Day, September 7th, from 12-4pm!!! Admission is only $5 per person, with FREE entry for children under 2 years of age! ALL proceeds go back to the animal's care.

*Pony rides 🏇🏼 will be $5 per ride, from 1-3pm only*

There will be a BBQ canteen and baked goods 😋

We will have a FREE draw for a Back to School prize basket 🧺 as well as 50/50 tickets sold in support of Coxheath Elementary's school supplies!

There are a few things you may want to know:

- We are cash only at this time.

- NO SMOKING 🚭

- We do not allow outside food to be fed to the animals. We will have variety treat bags for sale for $5 for those of you who would like to safely feed our animals 🥕

- Please leave your own pets at home. We do have some free range animals, and even if your pet is usually friendly, some of ours may feel territorial 🐕‍🦺

- All of our animals are tame and friendly, but they are still animals. Please keep close watch on your children, as an animal may easily mistake their fingers 🩹 for food if they are too close to their mouth

- All children must be supervised by an adult 👀

- Strollers are permitted, but keep in mind that access to the animals requires walking through our outdoor riding arena which is deep sand, and may be hard to push through. For this reason, closed footwear 👢 is also suggested.

We are sad that the summer break is over, but we always have a blast when we have an excuse to host an event day on the farm! Hope to see you there!

- We do not allow outside food to be brought with you for the animals. We take pride in providing ideal species specific diets to our animals, and some foods may not be safe for some species. We will have treat bags for sale for those of you who would like to safely feed our animals.

Please note we are closed to the public this weekend as we have our petting zoo display up at the ex!

This has been, hands down, the most impressive Cape Breton Exhibition week I have witnessed in my 25 years of participating. You seriously don't want to miss it folks!

We do recommend you carpool and be prepared for a bit of a walk, as there must have been record breaking numbers of guests the last two nights!

Saturday sights, country nights, and memories made at the exhibition!!✨

🎡East Coast Amusements are offering rides independently, starting at 12pm and are open until 10pm. As an independent, they set their own schedule and pricing!

🐴We have our final KDR pole bending and RAM rodeo barrels tonight! Please keep in mind there is no exact times as classes can run longer or shorter!

🎸We have some amazing talent on our schedule today! Come by and see Scott Phillips Band and Erin O’Brien on our entertainment stage sponsored by Cape Breton Pro Rodeo!

🍻We have a bar!! Open 2pm to 10pm! There’s a wide variety, including coolers and b**r!

Hours are as follows:
⏰Main arena and livestock open at 9am
⏰Vendor Village and food vendors open at 11am

⏰Entertainment stage and bar start at 2pm

This year, we are reintroducing a bar that is beside the Entertainment stage. There will be a 19+ area marked! We are excited to have this as an option, and try it out!
