Opportunities are everywhere.
But you have to believe they’re there.

Believe in the idea.
Believe in yourself.
Believe there’s another way.
Believe that what’s meant for you won’t pass you by.

Because sometimes the opportunity isn’t obvious.

You have to believe it’s possible before you can see it.

Have faith.
Look harder.
Think bigger.
Take the chance.

Sometimes the door opens after you take the first step.

There are opportunities everywhere.
You just have to believe. Trust and take that first Step, if it’s meant to be it will Happen.

How does a heifer earn the Lone Star brand? 🤠🐂

She doesn’t inherit it simply because she was born here.

She has to prove she belongs.

We start with genetics, including her EPDs, to evaluate her potential for economically important traits. But numbers are only the beginning. We watch how she handles, how she moves, how she grows, and how she performs.

✅ Genetics and EPDs
✅ Disposition
✅ Structure and feet
✅ Growth and performance
✅ Maternal ability
✅ And ultimately… does she deserve a place in the future of our herd?

Every decision comes back to one question: does she fit the long-term breeding goals we’ve built this program around?

Our brand was first registered to our family in 1870. It carries a legacy built over generations—and standards we continue to uphold today.

The brand isn’t just a mark on her hide. It’s a promise of what we expect from her, and what we expect from our program.

We’re building cattle for generations, not just next year.

The brand is earned. 🔥

When God gives you a boy… He gives you muddy boots, a hand to hold, scraped knees, a wild spirit, a heart full of love, and unstoppable determination.🤎 Wacey you’ve caused a few grey hairs, driven us crazy, made Dakota so mad that she has thrown tools at you, you have the biggest heart, with the greatest love of life. From the time you were a little boy it’s always been a Go Big or Go Home attitude. You look at a challenge give it a wink and a smile and hit it head on. Happy Birthday

“Can you take a picture of Winnie next time you’re out checking cows?” 2400 images later, mosquitos, sweat and flys, captured the perfect picture! 📸Even though their bones may be weary, their spirit never grows old.

There’s something special about watching my mom with Winnie. Time may leave its mark, but it can’t touch the love, loyalty, and quiet understanding they’ve built together.

Some of the strongest hearts are carried by those who’ve spent a lifetime caring for others—and some of the greatest friendships are never spoken, only felt.

Every gray hair tells a story. Every ride is a blessing.

❤️ Cherish the moments. They become the memories that last forever.
