Windiana Farms

Windiana Farms Windiana Farms is a family owned farm in Southern Alberta, committed to growing quality crops – potatoes, cereals and forage.

Biologicals:
Produce Hauling: It was started by Mike & Cathy Wind in 1989, when Mike left a successful partnership to venture out on his own. Starting with a small land base and potato contract, through much hard work and many blessings, the farm has grown in size and added two sons, Jeremy and Kevin, as partners. Our main crop is potatoes, for both chip and fry mar

kets, contracted with Frito-Lay and Lamb Weston. Rotation crops include wheat, barley, commercial canola, seed canola, soybeans, peas, alfalfa and timothy hay. Farming is a good lifestyle and something we’re passionate about. It requires commitment and hard work – we never worry about being unemployed! We take seriously the responsibility of growing good food, as well as being good stewards of the land, improving and leaving it better for future generations.
