Had friends down from Ontario and did a very fast trip around PEI and some of Nova Scotia. They could not get over how big PEI and Nova Scotia are. And how much scenery there is too see.

Fell 2and half months ago . My hip has been acting up. Had x-rays CTs , got the deadly A disease In my hip. Not been to the barn in the last 3 weeks nice today , so went to the barn. Kristen has been doing chores, she really is doing a fantastic job doing it. My Lincoln ewes and the lambs look great. Very proud of the job she is doing. I know they are in great hands.

Just found out a old family friend pasted away last week. Brian Sutherland, he was my age. He moved to Alberta near 50 years ago. The last time I seen him was at dad's funeral, he was just like his dad for looks and the voice. He spoke and you thought he was Robert.

Had the greatest chat yesterday with the Kilted Chef. I was dressed like someone crawling out of a snowbank. This man is the greatest, I did a little favor for him 20 some years ago and he never forgot me.

Not much use staying in Nova Scotia anymore. I know the farm is in good hands with Shawn and Kristen at the keel. Thinking seriously about going back to Ontario for my last years of life.
