This evening I put Lita and Maverick out before putting any of our other horses outside. I watched as Maverick galloped in and out of our run-in shed to his big pasture three times before deciding that maybe I should try and capture this c**t's energy! Sure enough, he didn't disappoint me and repeated his "courageous venturing" one more time for me to record.

Our c**t, Maverick and his dam, Lita were put out in "the big field" yesterday, first time since "baby" got back from the OVC. We only left halters on in case the mares over the fence began to cause trouble. Luckily Milka and Finny just ignored this pair so that Maverick could have one joyous romp!

We are looking forward to Lita having another Sir Vari foal next year. The vet, Dr. Robyn Visser from Listowel Heartland...

We are looking forward to Lita having another Sir Vari foal next year. The vet, Dr. Robyn Visser from Listowel Heartland Vet Clinic was out yesterday. She preg checked Lita at the 40 day mark and all is good! We will look forward to another "Banksy" next year! Right now Banksy is with Claudia in hopes that he will be shown at the Royal Winter Fair this November. Thank you, Donna for taking some wonderful photos and video for me!!

This is what happens when you have to bring an independent- thinking 2 month old c**t in without leading him! His dam, Lita was already in her stall eating her evening ration but Maverick couldn't care at all! Here he is having a great time visiting our other horses and investigating the barn yard! :( Lots of fun!

I was thrilled to have Claudia Frauchiger and her daughter, Dea drop by yesterday to see, photograph and video Maverick and Lita with me. Every day Mark and I are working with our horses but no one is ever around to capture us in photos with our horses. Thanks so much Claudia!
