I just had to share this quick clip of Lita's newest arrival, a c**t by Mobolensky. He is big, correct and already an energetic "fireball", even though I am not posting the running around videos yet. I have to make them smaller formats. I could video this guy all day!!

After almost no sleep last night, Lita gave birth to a big beautiful c**t that is yet un-named (I usually have a name picked out but then you see the baby and....) this morning around 8 am. All is well but seeing our mare foal was stressful. Yes, Mark and I were there to actually see Lita foal and be with her the whole process, but you often feel helpless. You want to help but know that often the best thing to do is stand back and let nature take its course. This was our "Mobolensky result"!

Thought I would post some of today's clinic photos of not only Opal with Sara but some of the other participants in the John Lassetter Dressage Clinic. I would like to thank John Lassetter from coming to Canada from the UK to teach everyone who rode or audited his clinic. I would also like to thank Kathleen Day-Dunbar for hosting this clinic "so close" to wear I live (still an hour away!). Lastly, I would like to thank Sara Dwyer and Claudia Frauchiger for riding Opal and Pumpkin this weekend!! They did such a great job with "our boys"!

Yesterday "Pumpkin" (CSHA registered "Glad Ur Myne") did an amazing job with Claudia Frauchiger riding him in the John Lassetter Dressage Clinic at Kathleen Day-Dunbar's stable in Seaforth. Even though Pumpkin was rather nervous in a "CoverAll arena" (if you recall, in February, 2025 he and my other four year old gelding had to be rescued due to the collapse of our CoverAll barn), he did eventually settle down to work amongst the rails and pylons. But it was his debut too. He has never been out to a show yet so this was a good transition from the barn to working somewhere else in preparation for him to hopefully go to a dressage show this summer!

I had been anticipating this weekend for quite sometime, and it finally came!! Today I got to see our 4 year old registered C.S.H.A. Part-Bred (out of our CSHA Mattgold mare, Milka) gelding, Mariupol (Opal stable name) being ridden under Sara Dwyer in front of dressage clinician, John Lassetter from the UK. I was thrilled that John said Opal has a lot of potential. Sara has told me that Opal hasn't taken a wrong step. He has such a nice temperament too. I am so proud of this "team" and felt like a Mom beaming the whole time I was watching the two of them!! Here are some photos from today. Tomorrow it will be an exciting day as Pumpkin will be ridden by Claudia Frauchiger for a session with John at Kathleen Day-Dunbar's (Seaforth). Then, on Claudia's way home, she is picking up Banksy (registered CSHA name "Statesman VMK"). Banksy is going to get some line class training so he can be shown at the Royal this year in the CSHA yearling class. I'll try to get some photos to post tomorrow of my day!
