Pinot Noir has been captivating wine lovers for centuries.

Native to France's Burgundy region, Pinot Noir is an ancient grape variety with a long history of producing some of the world's most celebrated wines. It's also known for being a little temperamental in the vineyard... but when conditions are right, the results can be beautifully expressive.

If you're looking for a refreshing and classic spring whiskey recipe without the buzz, it's hard to find something better than the mint julep. This traditional mocktail just gives you a taste of what life is like in the South - trying to stay cool on a hot day with a sip of something cold and icy.

Take 8-10 mint leaves
1.5 tsp refined sugar
Seltzer water
2.5 oz Seir Hill Mashville alcohol-free whiskey
Crushed ice
Mix and enjoy!

Did You Know?

The "legs" or "tears" you see running down the inside of a wine glass aren't actually a sign of quality.

They're caused by what's known as the Marangoni Effect...a scientific phenomenon where alcohol evaporates faster than water. As the alcohol evaporates, surface tension changes, causing the wine to climb up the sides of the glass before gravity pulls it back down in droplets.

While wines with higher alcohol content may produce more noticeable legs, they don't tell you whether a wine is better or worse - they're simply a fascinating bit of wine science!
