Please join us Friday Feb. 9 2024 at 11 am to demonstrate that this waste of resources is shameful. The destruction of the 18 year old Seven Sisters building and later of the Mills Memorial Hospital speaks to a waste of resources... unmet needs for housing... and care giving and community need that have been ignored by politicians. Join us for one hour to show you care.
This demolition follows many meetings between Skeena Valley Seniors Society and all the governing agencies that have made this decision. SVSS has identified the many, many reasons to keep and re-purpose this building and have been unheard... we have 2200 signers to a petition to keep and re use both the Seven Sisters building and the Hospital.. all without sacrificing parking and other issues that are contrary to what Northern Health and the Minister of Health are saying. Join us and help us to stand up and fight for what our community needs.
