I have a bit of down time today. A gift right before Canada Day. I'm pausing and reflecting on how lucky I am to live in this country. This country where sometimes I have to wait awhile for health care treatment, but I don't have to worry about how I'm going to be able to afford it. The country where I have the privilege of using the ground to grow beautiful, delicious vegetables for my fellow Canadians to eat and enjoy. The country where I have the freedom to disagree with my friends, neighbours, fellow Canadians and express myself peacefully without worrying about being arrested or losing my life. The country where we support one another, even if we don't always agree with one another. The country where I have the privilege of having children and a family. I have a job, I have employees, I have beautiful customer and supplier partnerships. I have all these things, and above all I have freedom. Freedom that I do not take for granted. This country isn't perfect, but I'm so grateful to be living here, working here, and have the ability to feed and support other Canadians through our business. Oh Canada! The True North, Strong and Free! 😍 🇨🇦
