Conceptualized in 2015 when we realized that our beloved 28-acre apple orchard was well past its prime and no longer producing viable fruit, we began to imagine what the future of our land could become. Over the spring and summer of 2016, the family built a 3/4 acre pilot hops yard and planted 700 Cascade and Chinook rhizomes. By going through our pictures, you will have the opportunity to witness

our moments of curious contemplation, creative problem solving, temporary frustration and ultimate triumph, as the family from the city dreamt and laboured together to bring a hops farm to fruition. We will be expanding our acreage and looking to sell our hops - both wet and dry - to local craft brewers in the years to come. Please do not hesitate to email us with any questions.
