Nature's Way Hoof Trimming

Nature's Way Hoof Trimming Nature's Way Hoof Trimming has been around now for going into my 17th year. Trimming the way nature intended. Barefoot trimming at it's finest.

I am winding down my trimming as I am retiring shortly. I have retorn my ACL and no longer taking clients. Just a little page to get information out there about my Barefoot Trimming.. and for people that like or don't like me to post on here and questions and anything else. I've been trimming for going on 14 years now. I do not advertise anywhere. My client base is 100% word of mouth, which in my

humble opinion, is way better advertising! I've taken my original course with Lane Moore of Lazy M. I've taken courses with Don Mackenzie as well as with Pete Ramey. There is no such thing as knowing it all. I've consulted lots with Cheryl Henderson of ABC Trimming as well as Christine of Okanagan School of Natural Hoof Care. Its a joint venture and we should all be able to help with everyone out with difficult cases and build each other up!!

Your horse just kicked the farrier… again?! 😱
Let’s stop turning your farrier into a punching bag.

Most “farrier issues” are not mean horses. They’re under trained feet and rushed handling, especially in winter.

You do not need long training sessions.
You need a 2 minute daily habit that stacks fast.

The Minimum Effective Dose (do this while feeding or turning out):
1. Stand still + square (20 sec)
If they drift, calmly reset. No drama.
2. Pick up + hold each foot low and comfortable (about 10 to 20 sec per foot)
You set the foot down when they are calm.
Do not reward yanking. Wait for one calm second, then release.

Quick progression:
Week 1: 3 to 5 sec per foot
Week 2: 5 to 10 sec
Weeks 3 to 6: build to 20 to 60 sec with tiny breaks

Once a week: 5 minute “Farrier Rehearsal”
Longer holds, light hoof pick taps, tiny position shifts.

Winter bonus: pick hooves daily in mud and manure. Easiest thrush prevention ever.

Who’s tried a routine like this? Drop a ❤️ if your farrier has horror stories like these pics.

Who loves a good mystery surprise box?!

Who would be interest in a monthly subscription for a surprise t-shirt each month?

With Christmas just around the corner this would make a great gift that keeps giving throughout year!

You tell us your size and we do the rest! Each t-shirt design will be based on the holiday that is happening that month and if there is no holiday, we will pick a random graphic!

If once a month is too often would you rather it be quarterly? We would love your input! Comment your suggest below!

I've been trimming for going on 13 years now. I do not advertise anywhere. My client base is 100% word of mouth, which in my humble opinion is way better advertising!

I've taken my original course with Lane Moore of Lazy M. I've taken courses with Don Mackenzie as well as this past summer with Pete Ramey. There is no such thing as knowing it all.
