Our Canadian AAA premium strip loin steaks are in, and if you're feeding a crowd the Canadian AAA sirloin caps are only $11.99/lb. Fresh pork tenderloin is down to $3.89/lb and bone-in chicken thighs are $3.79/lb, good for the nights leading up to the big dinner when nobody wants to cook much.

Thanksgiving is two weeks away, and the turkey is the one thing you don't want to be chasing the Friday before.

Pre-orders are now open at Maltese for turkeys and our locally smoked, bone-in hams. Fill out the quick form on our website, pick your pickup day and time, and we'll have everything ready for you when you come in, so all you have to worry about is the stuffing (and who's bringing the pie).

The leaves are starting to turn, Thunder Bay, and this week's features are worth coming in for.

The Store Made Pork Souvlaki is one we're excited about this week, made right here in store with fresh garlic and lemon and the kind of thing that disappears fast once people taste it. If you haven't tried it before, this is a good week to pick some up.

And if you're already thinking about Thanksgiving dinner, Berkshire Pork Rack is in for both roasts and chops, which is a seriously good option if you want something a little different on the table this year.

🥩 Wagyu is back this week, Thunder Bay, and this time it's the Tri Tips.

If you haven't tried Wagyu Tri Tips before, it's a cut that does really well with a low and slow cook. Worth picking up if you're looking for something a little different this week.

And the CAN AAA Prime Rib Steaks are in too, which honestly makes this a pretty stacked week for anyone who likes a great cut of meat on the table.

Also Melissa Kids Pasta in Peppa Pig and Paw Patrol shapes is featured this week and if you've got little ones at home, this will get them excited about dinner.

CAN AAA Premium Striploin Steaks are in! It's a cut that doesn't need a lot of fuss to be really good, just heat, a bit of time and you're eating well tonight.

If you want something with a bit more going on, the Mango Chili Marinated Thick Cut Pork Rib Chops are worth grabbing this week. Already marinated, thick cut and the mango chili combo is the kind of thing that makes people think you spent way more time in the kitchen than you did.

And if you're swinging by the deli, keep an eye out for the Fantino and Mondello Capocollo imported from Italy. It's a nice find for a charcuterie board or just something different on a sandwich this week.

Wagyu Bavette A8-9. If you've tried Wagyu with us before you already know what an A8-9 marble score means, and if you haven't, this is a good week to find out. The Bavette is a cut that soaks up flavour like nothing else and at this marble score it's genuinely hard to mess up.

We're also really excited about the Berkshire Frenched Pork Chops and Pork Racks this week.

And Sleepy G Farms is back with a solid haul this week, beets, potatoes, celery, cucumbers and zucchini among other things, all local and all worth grabbing while they're fresh.

Plus, our homestyle burgers are always a hit and made in-store!

Another week, another reason to love being a Maltese shopper.

CAN AAA Prime Rib Steaks and Prime Rib Roasts are in this week and Prime Rib is one of those cuts that just hits differently. Tender, full of flavour and the kind of meal that is perfect to enjoy a bit more summer before back to school time.

We also have English Cucumbers for 99 cents this week. Slice them up with a simple dressing and you've got a refreshing cucumber salad that pairs beautifully with the Prime Rib. Sometimes the best part of a great meal is the side that comes together in five minutes.
