Kakabeka Farmers' Market is in full swing! We're having a great veggie-growing season in our area. Come on Saturday and get cucumbers (slicing and pickling), zucchinis, carrots, beets, garlic, greens, new potatoes and more! Plus baked goods, jams & jellies, candy, artisan crafts, essential oils, jewellery, and apparel! The Market operates outdoors, every Saturday through September, 9:30-12:30 @ 4554 Hwy. 11/17.

Our vendors are looking forward to seeing you! Fresh farm foods are now coming in. Here are some highlights:

- My Little Acre will have perennials and *NEW* dill!
- See Dodie LeGassick tomorrow at the Market for fresh Haskap Berries from Superior Honeyberries! They are yum!
- JaX Jewels will have blueberry jewelry, vintage bolo ties, and assorted rings from crystals to precious rock. Assorted bracelets created with precious stone, and crystals and glass. JaX will do custom rings on the spot! Pick your metal and pick your stone. $15 each! Always ready for custom orders!
- Windy Sunshine Farm Boreal Berry Jam are having a Market Special: 3 jams/$25 (reg. $9/250ml jar). Cooler temperatures have spurred more jam production! No-Sugar-Added Wild Blueberry and Apple, Wild Blueberry and Apple, Black Currant with a hint of Apple (currants from The Gus Homestead), Rhubatoon (their signature blend with saskatoons and rhubarb). Plus a limited supply of No-Sugar-Added Strawberry jam. Don't forget to return your empty jars and rings for $1 credit towards your next jar(s).
- Landale Farms will have garlic scapes, plus an early variety of garlic called China Rose, some seasonal veggies and herbs. (China Rose is a nice juicy garlic with a bite.)
- Scentsational Smells will have sourdough bread this week. Rhys will have his dog cookies
At The Gus Homestead it looks like radishes are in the offing!
- Bearhaven will have NEW fresh, crisp little zucchinis, the last of the garlic scapes, and the usual tempting home-made sponge toffee and peanut brittle.
