I’m selling one of my last two scooters!
2015 Honda Ruckus – Runs Great – 13,500 km – $3,000 OBO
Selling my 2015 Honda Ruckus. It has approximately 13,500 km and is mostly stock with very little rust. The scooter is registered in my name and has been a reliable way to get around.
It runs and drives well, but it does have two issues that I’m selling it with:
* Electric starter is not working.
* Kick starter works perfectly to start the scooter, but the return spring doesn’t bring the lever back up automatically—you simply lift it back into position by hand between kicks.
From my research, the kick starter issue is commonly just a return spring, which is typically a relatively inexpensive repair. The electric starter could be something simple like a battery, relay, or wiring, but I haven’t had it diagnosed. Depending on the cause, repairs for both issues together are often in the $200–$500 range, though it could be more if additional parts are needed.
This is a great scooter for someone looking for a reliable Ruckus at a lower price or someone comfortable doing a bit of mechanical work. Honda Ruckuses are known for their reliability and have a huge following.
