Jason and Tamar Oziel started eating mostly fish in 2009. In 2010 they founded Noa Fisheries and began travelling and teaching aquaponics across Canada. They often brought beef jerky to eat. Tamar had an epiphany-What about fish jerky? An aquaculture professor told her “It’s a no brainer. Fish snacks are common in Asian countries.” Tamar began experimenting in her kitchen and received IRAP grant to develop fish jerky which slowly evolved into fish chips. Nimblz was founded in 2017 and continues to develop innovative healthy snack products, including; baked cod chips, eggplant bacon, butternut squash chips, and sweet potato chips and more fish snacks coming soon!
