Roger Feng mini concert - As a singer, actor, performer and vocal coach, Roger Feng has been entertaining the Chinese community with his soulful voice for more than 20 years. He loves to use his voice to celebrate the Canada Day weekend with you. - (July 2nd, 3:00pm - 3:30pm) Roger Feng Vocal Studio

As a performer, Roger can be seen performing in numerous large scale private functions and in 2007 and 2009, he successfully held his solo concert in front of a pack house audience.

Furthermore, in 2009 and 2014, Roger was invited to sing the Canadian and American national anthem at the Toronto Blue Jays baseball and the Toronto Raptors basketball game. Roger had his vocal training with celebrity vocal coach Ruth Ng from Hong Kong and Elaine Overholt (vocal coach for Oscar winning movie “Chicago”) from Toronto and has also received extensive training in Speech Level Singing and Estill Voice. He has also been singing and performing with numerous artists from Hong Kong, China and Taiwan.

Roger is an accomplished musical theatre actor for the past 8 years, with his most recent honor of receiving from the Brampton Arts Council with the 2013 BRAVO Awards for the "Most Outstanding Performance By a Male In a Leading Role” for the role of Joseph in the musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Roger is also a well respected vocal teacher in the community, quickly garnering attention by sharing his knowledge and experience with his students using a very direct, interactive and effective approach that enable students to see result quickly.

Rhythm Performing Arts is a multicultural organization , unifying everyone under one art form: DANCE. (July 2nd, 8:00pm - 10:00pm)

Their mission is to promote artistic and creative expression through dance and diverse performing arts at many showcases, events, and performances throughout the GTA. They have won many competitions since 2012, performed in front of the former Prime Minister of Canada Stephen Harper in Brampton, performed, at the Pan Am Pre-Games Boxing Tournament, have been the opening act for artists like Anjulie and JRDN at concerts hosted by UTM, been the opening act with two other perfomance at UofT Festival of Dance (Canadas largest dance festival), to name a few!

From East to West: The Filipino Love of Music – Come enjoy the best singing performance from the community (July 2nd, 5:00pm - 6:00pm)

Chyrell Samson has been enchanting audiences and touching their hearts with her voice since 1995 in Toronto. She started singing at age 3, joined several choirs such as the UP Concert Chorus and the UP Manila Chorale in university and was a member the Mississauga-based Himig Pilipino Chorale Ensemble for 10years. She was also a part of a band called the "Yan Yon Band" in the late 90s till mid-2000s. She won numerous singing competitions, received several awards, held concerts and released a couple of albums.

Jennifer Uy is a rare vocal talent. She is a classically trained singer whose musical styles range from Opera to House to R&B. She won the Golden Voice award at FairchildTV's New Talent Singing Awards and was a finalist in the Maria Callas Opera Grand Prix in Athens, Greece. Past roles include Micaela in the opera, CARMEN, with the Summer Lyric Opera Theatre, and debuted the role of Kim in Nightwood Theatre's experimental new opera, PERSEPHONE CALLING, with Dora award-winning, Marjorie Chan as librettist and music by composer, Wendy Bartley.

The Rize (boyband) is 3 member boy band consisting of Glenn Montera (21), Francis De Las Alas (19), and Aaron Hernandez (16). With education from Cardinal Carter Academy of the Arts and St. Michael’s Choir School, the members have been musical trained in both classical and more modern styles of music.

Giselle Villegas is 9 years old. She loves to sing and dance . She goes to french immersion school. She also takes piano lesson, kung fu lesson and dance lessons. She is a member of MFFC (Markham Filipino Federation Center).

Toronto Inner-City Rugby Foundation (TIRF) is a rugby-centred community development non-profit organization. Their goal is to build communities through rugby and rugby through communities. TIRF has established strong relationships with all stakeholders in the rugby landscape to ensure that the game of rugby is accessible financially, geographically, and culturally.
