ght to you straight from the Amazonian rainforest in Brazil. Açaí is a superfood from the drupe of the "berry", that is delicious, nutritiously packed full of antioxidants, containing very little sugar naturally, and is a great dietary source of energy. As cafés and restaurants serving açaí bowls started to pop up around Toronto, we noticed that it was difficult to find a high-quality source and our founders took the opportunity to start a socially responsible company that could be the main provider to Canadians. Frozen açaí is most often used to create nutritionally-packed açaí bowls, but is also used to make smoothies, beverages, desserts, and even savoury dishes. We also sell freeze-dried açaí powder, which can also be used in smoothies, energy truffles, and sprinkled on cereals and yogurts. In addition to açaí, we will also offer sustainably sourced frozen pitaya pulp. Pitaya, also known as dragon fruit, is another superfruit that is growing in popularity amongst health-conscious Canadians. Pitayas contain a high number of phytonutrients, which help to reduce blood pressure, inflammation and cholesterol. They are also rich in antioxidants, healthy fats, fibre, and other important nutrients. Similar to açaí, pitaya can be used to create superfood-packed recipes such as pitaya bowls, smoothies, and other types of desserts. We have built partnerships in the communities where our products are cultivated. Each fruit is hand picked and immediately frozen or freeze-dried to seal in the flavour and the nutrients. Ensuring the demand for açaí berries is maintained and increased in North America will help to save the Amazon rainforest. We are helping to transform isolated communities into citizens of the sustainable global movement, and are improving the health of Canadians while doing it!

Inner Glow Superfoods Inc. imports organic, frozen açaí with 0 artificial additives to Canada from the Amazon region of Brazil. We aim to improve the quality of life of Canadians by providing healthful foods that are packed with antioxidants and nutrients to light their inner glow! We are proud to be Canadian owned and operated.

Our first product launch is açaí, brought to you straight from the Amazonian rainforest in Brazil! If you haven’t yet heard of or tried this superfood, it is delicious, nourishing for the body, contains very little sugar and is an optimal source of energy. Frozen açaí is most often used to create superfood-packed açaí bowls, but is also used to make smoothies, beverages, desserts, and even savoury dishes. Our Founder first fell in love with açaí when she visited Brazil in 2012 on an internship with a sustainable development organization. When she returned to Canada she was disappointed to not be able to find the delicious and nutritious fruit anywhere. Several years later, an idea was sparked. As cafés and restaurants serving açaí bowls started to pop up around Toronto, she noticed an opportunity to start a socially responsible company that could be the main provider to Canadians. She has also dealt with personal health conditions that have led her to a clean diet, high in organic foods and low in sugars. Açaí is an optimal source of nutrition and energy for this special diet, and has helped her to feel much better. She has also been exposed to the world of supporting entrepreneurship and international trade, working for the as a Science & Innovation Diplomat for the UK in Canada, which inspired her to take on the challenge and start her own company! Frozen açaí is most often used to create superfood-packed açaí bowls, but is also used to make smoothies, beverages, desserts, and even savoury dishes like fish glaze or salad dressing. We have built partnerships in the communities where our products are cultivated. Each fruit is hand picked and immediately frozen or freeze-dried to seal in the flavour and the nutrients.
