A Correction to Our Story

We would like to take a moment to correct an important part of our history.

On our website, within “Our Story,” we unintentionally omitted one of our original founders, João Rego. We sincerely apologize for this oversight and extend our apologies to João’s family, while honouring his memory and the lasting impact he had on our business.

Nosso Talho was established in 1974 by three Portuguese immigrants—cousins João Rego, Julio Lima, and Francisco Silva. João Rego’s business insight and leadership were instrumental in bringing Nosso Talho to life, and his contributions remain a meaningful part of our foundation.

As a family business built on tradition, respect, and community, it is important to us that we properly recognize those who helped shape our story and lay the foundation we stand on today.

We are proud to acknowledge João Rego as one of the original founders of Nosso Talho and remain grateful for the legacy he helped build.
