This may be the last long weekend to grab a pint of Wong’s from your neighbourhood shop. When they’re sold out, that’s it. That’ll be the last of it.
I’ve decided to focus on other things and have made the difficult choice to say goodbye to Wong’s Ice Cream for good. I couldn’t have done it without the tremendous support of family, friends, and most of all, the customers who passionately (and patiently) lined up at my original East Chinatown location on Gerrard Street East or who continued to be fans when we closed the shop and continued supporting us via my current retail partners.
I owe all of you a mountain of gratitude for allowing me the opportunity to do something I found unbelievably worthwhile and satisfying. Thank you, and all the best.
